The Oregon Country Fair would like to introduce our new Executive Director. Marc Hinz began his new position on February 9. He'll be focusing on fundraising, program development, personnel management, community outreach and financial management.
Marc is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin where he received a bachelor's degree in Social Change. He earned a master's in Public Administration at Portland State and also received a certificate of Nonprofit Development. He is founder and CEO of Kayak Tillamook County. Marc also founded the Watershed Activities To Estuary Recreation (WATER) program when he was Director of Continuing and Community Education at Tillamook Bay Community College.
Marc says "My overall orientation to activism and social change is to create." Seems like he'll fit right in at the Oregon Country Fair!
